Audi Nogaro S4 BiTurbo Quattro
Owner: Daryl Nero
Featured on Audiwerks: April
2002
This
months featured ride is Daryl
"MoBrazen" Neros'
S4. If you're in the Yay area,
you're most likely to hear this
S4 pass you by. I'll tell you
straight up, this ride is LOUD.
I recently caught up with Daryl
over the weekend chilling, eating
some R&G Lounge (The best
Chinese Restaurant in the city).
Check out our conversation...
Awerks:
So Whats going down man? How
did you get that name, "MoBrazen"?
Daryl:
"MoBrazen" is "more brazen"
than "2Brazen". 2Brazen was
the license plate on my/my mom's
1990 Jetta GLI 16v. Everything
stems from the license plate
Awerks:
ahh.. i see, so how's the R&G?
Daryl:
R&G food is off the hook as
usual. I forgot to ask for steamed
rice instead of their fried
rice w/eggs though. :/
Awerks:
hahaha.. cool, cool. So you
were probably one of the first
S4's up north, right? what made
you choose the S4? and why Nogaro?
Daryl:
Not quite. It got delivered
on Memorial Day 2000. I chose
Nogaro after I saw the brochure
from the dealer. It was either
Nogaro, Hibuscus Red, or Cactus
Green & I chose Nogaro. The
Blue Alcantara seats sold me!
Awerks:
Yeah, them seats are hot! your
car was the first S4 i've ever
been in. It's fast as hell.
I know you've seen Josh's S4
with the Oem RS4 bumper. Any
ideas what's next for your car?
Daryl:
The next move for me is
to get Downpipes. I have toyed
with the thought of getting
a new chip brand or even Nitrous
for the drags, but I'm not sure
I want to do that yet. Downpipes
for sure, then I'll see what
else gets developed for the
S4.
It
seems everyone but me wants
me to get LCD screens for my
system, but I just don't see
a need for them (yet). Go figure!
Awerks:
You gotta get an LCD head unit..
it's the shit man. 2 movies
and 1 cd and you're in LA. Time
flys when you're watching a
movie man.. haha
Anyways,
I hear downpipes are the way
to go on an S. Thinking of R&G
is making me hungry.. Any last
shouts, props or thing's people
should know before approaching
you?
Daryl:Just
wanna say thanks to you of course,
S4ToGooo / ChaoticS4, all my
peeps over at AudiWorld and
anyone else I forgot.
As
for approaching me, just remember
that "MoBrazen" isn't just a
screen name or my license plate,
it's a state of mind and I live
up to it! Just be real!
Awerks:
Check out Daryl's photo's and
check out his stereo mods, and
kids... you can learn something
from this.
